Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- M.Sc. applications can be submitted at any time of the year (i.e., there is no application deadline).
- Applicants to our M.Sc. Program should have a B.Sc. degree with a grade point average of 70 % or better, equivalent to grade B (or better) or 3.3 (or better) on the Merit Point system (out of 4).
- Undergraduate transcripts and two letters of recommendation are required.
- An M.Sc. student must have a supervisor, who must be a regular faculty member of our department (see "People"). Before applying to our program, a prospective student should contact a faculty member working on the student\'s discipline of interest to ensure that such an individual would accept to be the supervisor. The applicant must state the name of the proposed supervisor in the application letter.
- Final acceptance of the application is the decision of StFX\'s Committee on Graduate Studies.
