Academic Requirements
Letters of Reference:

From Whom:\xc2\xa0Letters should be obtained from college/university faculty, preferably those in laboratory science areas, who are familiar with the applicant\'s academic and/or research abilities.
Coursework Required for Admission Consideration:\xc2\xa0Applicants should have a solid background in Biology and should have taken at least eight undergraduate Biology courses and one year\xc2\xa0each of Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus.\xc2\xa0The Biology\xc2\xa0Department Graduate Committee may allow exceptions to these course requirements after review.
Bachelor\'s Degree in Discipline/Related Discipline:\xc2\xa0A baccalaureate degree in a science field is required.
Statement of Goals:\xc2\xa0Approximately 500-1,000 words include your interest in Temple\'s program, your academic achievements, your research goals, and the names of up to three faculty with whom you would like to conduct your master\xc2\x92s research thesis.
Standardized Test Scores:
GRE: Combined minimum score of 300 on the quantitative and verbal reasoning sections
TOEFL: 90 iBT or 575 PBT minimum
