Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- Applicants for admission to the Master of Science (MS) program in Biology are normally expected to have completed an undergraduate major in the sciences (preferably in biology), including basic biology courses such as physiology, genetics, developmental biology, ecology, molecular biology, organic chemistry, college physics, and college mathematics through calculus. Students deficient in some courses may be accepted but will be required to complete such courses without credit early in the Master\xc2\x92s program.
- Applicants for admission will be evaluated on the basis of academic record (grade point average), GRE scores (institution code: 2092, department code: 0203), letters of recommendation, and a personal statement of graduate school plans. Applicants may wish also to submit other supporting information (i.e., work or research experience, special skills, etc.) which might assist the admissions committee.
