- The Department of Biology offers a program ofstudy leading to a Master of Science degree designed for\nthose persons seeking advanced study in professional biology, including the teaching of Biology.\xc2\xa0
- Candidates\nfor the degree are required to earn 10-14 semester hours in biology plus 22-25 hours of approved graduate\nelectives.
- \xc2\xa0Plan A requires original research and a thesis and is appropriate for all students contemplating graduate\nwork beyond the master\xc2\x92s degree.
- \xc2\xa0Plan B requires additional course work and a paper. Students completing their degree under Plan B\nwill not be recommended for admission to an advanced degree program.
