You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
- Official transcripts from each institution attended (must be submitted directly to UTRGV).
- Undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0.
- Two \xc2\xa0letters \xc2\xa0of \xc2\xa0recommendation \xc2\xa0from \xc2\xa0professional \xc2\xa0or \xc2\xa0academic sources.
- Letter of Intent\xc2\xa0which describes your academic and career goals. The letter should state whether you are pursuing the thesis or non-thesis option.
- GRE General Test. GRE test scores are valid for 5 years. A waiver of the GRE requirement will be granted to applicants who show proof of completing a graduate degree\xc2\xa0
- Applicants pursuing the thesis option must have a prospective faculty supervisor.\xc2\xa0
