Academic Requirements
For all Engineering and Materials MSc programmes we require
- a good second class degree or the equivalent international undergraduate degree*
- one reference from your academic institution
- a CV or resumé
- a statement of purpose
- an official transcript of your first degree of studies from your undergraduate university, with an English translation (if needed).
- proof of English at IELTS 6.5 (if needed).
Your first degree should be in an area relevant to the MSc you intend to pursue.
Engineering programmes: We expect applicants to have completed an engineering undergraduate degree, normally mechanically-based.
Materials programmes: We normally expect students to have an undergraduate degree that is Materials based, or has a strong physical sciences content.
Conversion programmes: These programmes are appropriate for students with a science-based undergraduate degree, but all applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis to assess eligibility.
Dental Materials MSc: We require a minimum of an upper second class degree in dentistry or a materials science-based programme.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
