Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
\xc2\xa0A bachelor\xc2\x92s degree in clinical lab science, biology, chemistry or a related discipline from a regionally accredited institution comparable in standard and content to a bachelor\xc2\x92s degree from Hunter College.
\xc2\x95 Minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.0
\xc2\x95 A course (or equivalent experience) in Molecular Biology (pre- or co-requisite)
\xc2\x95 A minimum of one year of bench experience in a biomedical laboratory
\xc2\x95 Two letters of recommendation from appropriate academic or professional references.
\xc2\x95 A statement of purpose\xc2\xa0of approximately 500 words, including a bit about the path that brought you to this degree, and your motivation to pursue opportunities for a position in laboratory management.
\xc2\x95 The GRE is not required for admission.
