Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
To qualify for admission, applicants must demonstrate, during an interview process, the potential to undertake the Graduate Certificate of Contemporary Arts. Normally applicants should have a degree in Visual Arts, Design, Theatre or Music or in an accepted cognate discipline.\xc2\xa0
A person who possesses such other qualifications and professional experience deemed by the Faculty to provide an adequate preparation for study equivalent to that provided for by an undergraduate degree, may be admitted to the course.\xc2\xa0
Non English speaking international students who make application to the MCA are required to have achieved an IELTS score of at least Band 6 with a minimum of 6.0 on all Bands, or a TOEFL score of 575 with a test of written English no less than 4.5. Either test score must be no more than 24 months old.\xc2\xa0
English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
