Admission Requirements
Masters Degree Programmes may either be open (with assessment of curricular requirements, competences and skills) or regulated by an entrance examination (restricted access).
The assessment of curricular requirements, competences and skills varies from programme to programme. You must pass this assessment to enrol at Sapienza.
If you are applying for a degree programme with restricted access, you will have to register for an entrance examination. Your personal competences and skills will be evaluated on the same date. Your admission to the programme will depend on the result of your entrance examination.
Masters Degree Programmes may either be open or regulated by an entrance examination (restricted access).
All degree programmes require an assessment of curricular requirements and competences. If the degree programme you are interested in has restricted access, you will also need to pass an entrance examination before enrolling at Sapienza.
All applicants must:
- Present a legalised academic title
- Pre-enrol at an Italian Embassy or consulate (only for non-EU students residing abroad)
- Satisfy Sapienza admission requirements
- Submit an application (if required by degree programme)
Mandatory Documents for all Citizens with Foreign Academic Titles
- Certified copy of your high school diploma (translated, legalized and accompanied by a Declaration of Value issued by an Italian Consulate or Embassy in the country where the title was issued;
- One certified photocopy and one simple photocopy of your University Degree (translated, legalized and with a Declaration of Value, as above);
- One certified photocopy and one simple photocopy of your Academic Transcript issued by your university and listing all exams taken (translated and legalized by an Italian Consulate or Embassy in the country where the title was issued);
- One photocopy (in the original language) of the detailed university study plan for each single subject together with the total number of hours required (theory and practice) to obtain the degree;
- Copy of your ID (Identity Card) or Passport
- Copy of Residence Permit and Reasons for issue. If you are renewing your residence permit, you will need a photocopy of your expired residence permit and the post office receipt for your renewal application. (ONLY for Non-EU Citizens);
- Copy of your Study Visa. (ONLY for non-EU Citizens resident abroad).
