Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

The Erasmus Mundus Programme in Flood Risk Management has the following admission requirements:

A. Proof that the applicant has successfully accomplished a first degree of higher education equivalent to a B.Sc. degree (equivalent to 180 credit points according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS)) with a good final mark in civil or environmental engineering, geosciences, environmental sciences, geography, natural resources management, limnology, oceanography, geology or other similar subjects.

B. Applicants must hold a qualification in one of the internationally-recognised English language Tests. More information on the English language requirements can be foundhere.

  • Two Letters of Recommendation (not older than six months either by two university teachers or by one university teacher and by one employer, or by internationally recognised scientist(s))
  • Results of an English language test proving you comply with the programme\'s language requirements (3)
Candidates from countries where English is the language of instruction in higher education, but which are not on the list of exempted countries, are required to attach the English language test results.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
