Academic Requirements
Typically you need a history degree 2.1 or above. If your degree is in an unrelated subject and 2.1 or above, we will consider you on individual merit.
A research proposal needs to be submitted. For guidance on writing research proposals in the first instance please contact course leader Prof Niels P Petersson at n.p.petersson@shu.ac.uk
If English is not your first language you typically need a minimum IELTS score of 7.0 and to submit a sample of written, critical work.
If you do not have such academic qualifications we may consider your application individually, based on your personal, professional and work experience, and other formal qualifications. You may also be able to claim credit points which can reduce the amount of time it takes to complete your qualification at Sheffield Hallam.\xc2\xa0
