Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Candidates are selected from the students admitted to the MBChB undergraduate course at Manchester. The minimum criterion for admission is satisfactory achievement in Years 1 to 3 or 4 of the undergraduate medical programme.
We also accept intercalating medical students from other UK universities, including home medical and international medical graduates who can demonstrate relevant experience and commitment to biomedical research.
Specifically, we require a minimum of:
- IELTS - minimum 6.5 overall with 6.0 in writing
- TOEFL: 90 internet-based (with 22 in each component)
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
