If you hold one of the degrees listed below, you are considered to meet all admission requirements and have direct access to apply to the Master\xc2\x92s programme in Mathematics-Economics. Learn about when and how to apply.
- BSc in Mathematics-Economics from the University of Copenhagen (reserved access*)
- BSc in Mathematics-Economics from another Danish or Nordic University
* If your Bachelor\xc2\x92s degree grants reserved access, you are guaranteed a place on the Master\xc2\x92s programme if you apply before the application deadline during the first application period after you complete your Bachelor\xc2\x92s degree.
Other Bachelor\xc2\x92s degrees
If you have a Bachelor\xc2\x92s degree other than those listed above, you must submit additional documentation along with your application so the University can evaluate whether or not you meet the admission requirements.Learn about when and how to apply.
Applicants with a Bachelor\xc2\x92s degree in Actuarial Mathematics or Mathematics from the University of Copenhagen or other Danish universities may be admitted, if they have passed the following:
- courses in microeconomics (min. 15 ECTS credits)
- courses in macroeconomics (min. 15 ECTS credits)
- courses in finance (min. 7.5 ECTS credits)
- courses in statistics based on measure theory (min. 15 ECTS credits)
Applicants with another Bachelor\xc2\x92s degree in economics, physics, computer science or chemistry from University of Copenhagen or other Danish or international university may be admitted if their programme includes:
- courses in mathematical analysis (min. 22.5 ECTS credits)
- courses in linear algebra (min. 7.5 ECTS credits)
- courses in microeconomics (min. 15 ECTS credits)
- courses in macroeconomics (min. 15 ECTS credits)
- courses in finance (min. 7.5 ECTS credits)
- courses in statistics based on measure theory (min. 15 ECTS credits)
In addition, you may be admitted, if you after an individual assessment,
are deemed to possess educational/academic qualifications equivalent to the
requirements listed above.
