Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

Note about Foundation Courses: The following undergraduate courses must be taken at an accredited institution: Chemistry I, Physics I, Calculus I, II, and III, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.

- If an applicant is not approved for full admission, but the Faculty Admissions Committee believe he/she shows promise, an offer of Probationary Admission may be extended. Probationary Admission is granted on the condition that the student meets a set number of requirements, such as minimum successful grade in a fixed number of courses, additional essay work, or other requirements as outlined by the Committee. If Probationary Admission is offered, it will be noted in the applicant\'s official admission decision letter from Rowan University.
Optional Interview (If an interview is required, students will be contacted directly by the Faculty Admissions Committee regarding the interview. The interview can be in person or via telephone.)
