The program allows students the substitution of demonstratable competence and/or advanced course work in relevant areas of Physics and Mathematics, in lieu of some of the normal clearance requirements and advanced course requirements in chemistry. Other students may be admitted to the graduate program under conditions set by the graduate admissions committee.
