Academic Requirements
Domestic students
- To be eligible to enrol in the Master of Chemical Sciences degree, prospective students must have completed a three-year undergraduate degree in Chemistry or hold a degree with substantial chemistry content equivalent to second/third-year chemistry.
International students
- International students are required to have equivalent qualifications from a recognised university. International students must also provide evidence of English proficiency at the postgraduate-entry level.
English Language Requirements
- La Trobe Melbourne (ELICOS): Completion of the English for Further Studies Advanced Stage 6B at La Trobe Melbourne with minimum 60 per cent overall and 60 per cent in final exam.
- Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE): minimum score of 64 with no communicative skill score less than 59.
- Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE): a grade of B or higher.
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): a grade of C or higher.
