Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

To be considered for admission to the MS program in chemistry, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Hold a baccalaureate degree in chemistry from an accredited college or university. Applicants with an undergraduate degree in another scientific discipline and the equivalent of a full year\xc2\x92s course work in analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, physics, and calculus also will be considered for admission.
  • Submit official transcripts (in English) for all previously completed undergraduate or graduate course work.
  • Submit scores from the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). The chemistry GRE is also recommended.
  • Submit two letters of reference.
  • Complete a graduate application.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
