Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Applicants with a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from the RUB or another German university can enrol in the M.Sc. programme at the students registration office during the enrolment period by presenting their degree certificate and the certificate of the mandatory counselling interview.
Applicants with a related or compatible (B.Sc.) degree from a German university or with a 2-subject Bachelors degree from the RUB that includes Chemistry must have their first degree accredited by an equivalency examination at the facultys examination office before being enrolled. Direct enrolment is not possible. For the enrolment at the students registration office the certificate of recognition of equivalent academic achievements and the certificate of the mandatory counselling interview are required. In some cases it may be compulsory for the student to attend additional classes to make up for areas not covered in the first-degree programme.
Applicants with a degree in Chemistry or a compatible or related (B.Sc.) degree from a foreign university must apply for admission at the universitysuniversitys International Office (Akademisches Auslandsamt).
Counselling interview (after admission to the Master course is complete):A counselling interview with the head of the Chemistry examination office is obligatory after your successful application. The certification of the completion of the interview must be presented at enrolment. The counselling interviews are coordinated by the examinations office.
