Program Curriculum
Course Structure
- Have completed a minimum of 21 credits of advanced coursework, of which at least 18 credits must be at the graduate level.
- Have earned final overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Have completed at least 9 credits of GRAD 395 - M.S. Thesis Research (for students entering in Fall 1998 or later).
- Have successfully completed public defense of an original thesis.
- Have submitted the final M.S. thesis approved by the Advisory Committee to the Graduate School. It is expected that one journal paper will be submitted or ready for submission by the time of the defense, resulting from the MS thesis.
- Have completed a minimum of 30 credits of advanced coursework, of which at least 27 credits must be at the graduate level.
- Have earned overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Have successfully completed final comprehensive exams (written and oral).

- You must hold a baccalaureate degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited college or university.
- A cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 for your entire undergraduate career or a grade-point average of at least 3.0 for your last two undergraduate years or exceptional work in your entire final undergraduate career (3.5 or better) or graduate work with a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
