Academic Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution of higher learning or a degree from a non-U.S. institution of higher education that is judged equivalent to a U.S. baccalaureate degree by the International Admissions Office.
- A statement of purpose which should include your educational and professional background and your motivation for graduate study, including career goals and area of interest.
- Official GRE scores. A minimum GRE combined (verbal plus quantitative)score of 304 (equivalent to 1100 in the old scoring system) with a minimum GRE quantitative score of 153 (equivalent to 680 in the old scoring system) is required. The Civil Engineering Graduate Studies Committee reserves the right to request scores of applicants who graduated from the College of Engineering at Boise State University on a case-by-case basis.
- International students should submit three letters of recommendation from tenure/tenure-track faculty.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
