Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
Admission to the Master of\xc2\xa0Science in Civil Engineering\xc2\xa0program requires the demonstration of high potential for success based on the following:
1. \xc2\xa0Submission of the Application for Graduate Admission;
2. \xc2\xa0A bachelor of science in civil engineering (or equivalent) from an ABET-accredited under-graduate program. Non-engineering graduates may be admitted to the program but may be required to take additional courses as specified by the program director;
4. \xc2\xa0Three letters of recommendation, preferably from employers and professors;
6. \xc2\xa0A professional resume.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
