Academic Requirements

Admission Requirements:
  • All applicants to Queen\'s are required to submit documents as part of the application process.
  • Examples include transcripts, the Personal Statement of Experience, or perhaps a Test of Facility in English.
  • The minimum requirements for completion are four graduate term length courses, research and thesis. The four courses must conform to the FEAS Graduate Council requirements, that is, term length graduate courses or their equivalent. The Council will accept one senior (400 series) under-graduate course as equivalent to a graduate course provided that the course:
  • a) the course is approved by the student\'s supervisor and
  • b) the student has not received credit for a similar course in their Bachelor\'s program.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
