Program Curriculum
Course Structure
- The first year focuses on the core concept of Industrial Ecology. It contains compulsory modules covering the three disciplines of Industrial Ecology, in addition to elective modules. Each discipline is equally represented in the core programme. Courses and modules are practice-focused and are taught and examined in classes by means of project teamwork, presentations and written examinations.
- The second year of the programme consists of compulsory group projects and an individual research assignment culminating in an MSc thesis.
Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- A bachelor\xc2\x92s degree in any of the Natural Sciences, Engineering Sciences, or Social Sciences from an accredited university programme and comparable with three years of Dutch Academic Education.
- A demonstrable affinity with multi-disciplinary education and research by showing course modules, summer courses, internships, or other relevant experiences that are within the endterms of the bachelor\xc2\x92s degree, or at least at sufficient academic level, but clearly outside the main field of the bachelor\xc2\x92s degree.
- For Dutch HBO students, the grade point average of the entire curriculum has to be 7.5 or higher.
- Motivation letter.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
