Program Overview

Program Curriculum
Course Structure
- the completion of 32 credits (CLA courses are generally 3 credits; GKA and LAT are generally 4 credits)
- 8 credits of course work in classes designated above the 7000 level
- a final written and oral examination
- at least 20 credits in Latin or Greek
- at least 3 credits in CLA above the 5000 level
- CLA 5300
- 6 credits of approved electives above the 5000 level
- 24 credits of Latin plus a 8 credit thesis OR
- 28 credits of Latin (including 4 credits of cognates, if desired) plus a 4 credit essay OR
- 32 credits of Latin (including 4 credits of cognates, if desired)
- 12 credits of Latin and 12 credits of Greek, an 8 credit thesis or a 4 credit essay, and additional elective credits in GKA, LAT, or CLA as necessary to add to 32 credits OR
- 16 credits of one language and 12 credits of the second plus 4 elective credits from CLA, GKA, or LAT
