Academic Requirements

Requirements

EU and non-EU citizens can equally enrol at the University of Catania. In case of dual citizenship, the Italian citizenship prevails (L. 31 May 1995, n. 218 art. 19). Distinct application rules apply to:
  • EU Citizens
  • Non EU Citizens residing abroad
  • Italians Citizens with foreign title

Candidates are required to:

  1. Have earned an undergraduate degree in a three-year Bachelor course in the area of Social and Human Studies.
    Candidates who are still studying during the admission process may be given a provisional offer upon condition that they have earned 150 CFU/ECTS by 10TH OCTOBER 2015.
  2. Have knowledge of English certified by an international certification, or proved by an exam passed in the Bachelor degree course (Italian grade 27/30)

Colloquium

All candidates are enrolled to the Master upon passing the admission colloquium.
The colloquium is run in english and is aimed at verifying student\'s motivation, interest and knowledge about the object of the Master programme, in the following disciplines: International Relations and EU Politics, Global History and History of Africa, History of Political Thought and Political Philosophy.
