Academic Requirements
- Read all application instructions prior to beginning an application.
- A completed application form and fee online.
- Official transcripts from all current and previous colleges/universities except Marquette.
- Three letters of recommendation from individuals who can address one\'s academic and professional potential. Each letter must be accompanied by a recommendation form.
- A statement of purpose.
- A resume/vita.
- GRE scores (General Test only).
- For international applicants only: a TOEFL score other acceptable proof of English proficiency.
- Counseling specialty area/concentration ranking Form (Word document).
- Prospective students need to indicate if they are electing to specialize in either child and adolescent counseling or addictions counseling. Ranking specializations doesn\'t affect an applicant\'s probability of being accepted into the program. Applicants should only rank those specializations in which they have a genuine interest in pursuing. We make every attempt to accommodate applicants\' first choice. However, the rankings assist us greatly in course planning and advising.
- After all applications are reviewed, the highest ranking applicants will be contacted for an interview with the faculty. This is required for admission. International applicants residing in foreign countries and applicants with extenuating circumstances may conduct their interviews over the phone. Campus interviews will be on Friday, March 4, 2016.
