Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3.25 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
Applicants to the RN to CNL program must submit a completed application and satisfy the following requirements:
- Possess either a BSN, ADN degree or diploma from a regionally accredited school (ADN and diploma applicants must also have a BA/BS degree in another discipline from a regionally accredited institution)
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in undergraduate study
- Complete a college-level course in\xc2\xa0statistics\xc2\xa0within five years of the program start *
- Submit a resume or CV and three academic and professional recommendations
- Be licensed as a registered nurse in the US, with eligibility to transfer the license to Virginia. All matriculating students who are not active-duty military nurses must have a Virginia RN license before the first day of classes
- Be available for an interview by phone, if requested
