You need the following GPA score:

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

  • Graduate studies in Communication are open to any undergraduate major.
  • Applicants must submit either GRE test scores or complete an essay as described on the application site.
  • An undergraduate GPA of 3.0 is required for unconditional admission; applicants with a GPA below 3.0 may be admitted conditionally and allowed to continue in the program after earning a GPA of 3.0 or better in the first three graduate courses.
  • For international applicants seeking an I-20: If you are a non-native English speaker, you also must also submit your TOEFL score (Bryant code 3095; waivers may be granted for students who have demonstrated English proficiency). Your official transcripts must be translated and converted to a 4.0 grade scale. You also must submit Certification of Finances.
