Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3.2 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
- The masters program requires a minimum\xc2\xa0GPA\xc2\xa0of 3.2 in upper level undergraduate coursework.
- Applicant must have completed at least 15 credits of communication coursework.
- An academic/professional statement of purpose is required. This should discuss your academic and professional interests. It should also clearly describe your preparation for graduate work in your area of interest as well as how the graduate degree serves your career plans.
- A sample of academic writing, such as a final paper or a research report, is required. Typically the writing sample ranges from 10-20 pages of text.
