If you are taking international qualifications such as GCSE\'s, O-Level\'s, A-Level\'s or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, please refer to the information below for details.
Preliminary year (year one entry) GCSE/IGCSE/O levels
Students are required to possess, or be on course to achieve five grade B\'s, including B\'s in relevant subjects. GCSE grade C in English is also accepted in lieu of IELTS or TOEFL IBT.
Qualifying year (year two entry) A levels
Typical A level requirements are ABB-BBB for the majority of programmes. B\'s in relevant subjects may be required depending on the programme applied for.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
Typical requirements are 30-34 points, with Higher Level and specific subjects required for particular programmes. IB English Language is also considered in lieu of IELTS or TOEFL IBT. A grade 4 is required for A1, A2 and B HL. Grade 5 is required for B SL.
SATII and Advanced Placement (AP)
Students taking AP\'s or SATII\'s should refer to the entry requirements for the USA.
Foundation year and university transfers
The University also considers applicants holding foundation year qualifications or at least one year study at a university. Admission is based on the modules studied, the current/final transcript and the course applied for at UNNC.
