Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Admitted are bachelors in Life Sciences (e.g. chemistry, biology, biomedical sciences, bioengineering, biochemistry, medicine, dentistry, zoology, pharmacy, State examination of Veterinary Medicine in Germany etc.). The bachelor programme must have contained a minimum of 6 ECTS of cell biology, biology and/or animal morphology. Students in their last year of such a bachelor programme may also apply. A minimum of 180 credits ECTS or corresponding to a minimum of 3 years of bachelor study) are required. A good command of English, both spoken and written is necessary. All non-native speakers are required to submit an English proficiency test result. IELTS (academic version) overall band score of at least 6.5 or a TOEFL score of at least 580 (paper based) or 237 (computer based) or 92 (internet based) are considered sufficient.
Starting from the files that prospective students submit, a ranking and possible selection will be made based on the criteria set out below. Students, which are not excluded in the first round, will be interviewed (the subjects questioned will be previously communicated as well as the reference works that potential students can use to prepare). On the basis of the total scores a ranking will be made. The first 25 students will be selected to start the master program.
