Academic Requirements

  • a Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Maschinelle Sprachverarbeitung (Natural Language Processing), Computational Linguistics, Computer Science or in a subject closely related to the mentioned ones.
  • Bachelor students of the University of Stuttgart have the possibility to already apply for the Master programComputational Linguistics when they can prove at least 110 credit points in their Bachelor program. Bachelor students who do not study at the University of Stuttgart can use this opportunity as well. However, please note that you will not get the status of a student of the University of Stuttgart unless you have handed in your Bachelor certificate.
  • knowledge and competences equivalent to those of the BSc degree Maschinelle Sprachverarbeitung (Natural Language Processing) and sufficient for meeting the specific requirements necessary for the MSc programme in Computational Linguistics

English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
