Academic Requirements

    Graduate admission is granted to a specific department and for a specific campus. Applicants ordinarily will be expected to hold baccalaureate degrees from colleges or universities of recognized standing prior to registration as graduate students. Three-year Bologna bachelor\'s degree recipients are eligible for admission. Applicants for a master\'s or doctoral degree program should have achieved a 3.0 grade point index or higher for the baccalaureate degree or have other academic indices indicating superior performance.
      The Graduate School accepts valid* TOEFL scores earned through the paper-based test and Internet-based test. The minimum paper-based test score required for admission is 550. The minimum Internet-based test scores required for admission are the following:
