Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- Computer science (programming, data structures: typically the 1st and 2nd year CS major undergraduate courses)
- Math (calculus, discrete math, linear algebra)
- Probability and statistics
GRE Scores: Applicants must provide scores for the general test portion of the GRE. The recommended minimum scores for admission are 153 (Verbal), 148 (Quantitative), and 4.5 (Analytical). Applicants with scores below this will be considered based on their entire application.
Applicants with a graduate degree can have this requirement waived.
TOEFL: For international applicants for whom English is not a native language. Most successful applicants have TOEFL scores at least 550 (paper-based test), 250 (computer-based test), or 80 (internet-based test). We also accept IELTS.
