Program Curriculum
- Erasmus partners in Europe and partners in non-English speaking countries often have a limited range of subjects taught in English. These can be put together into finished "subject packages" corresponding to 30 credits per semester. If not, you need to pick a composition of different topics. Check with your study advisor and programme coordinator whether these can be pre-approved into your degree.

- Are you a Bachelor student? Look for 2nd and 3rd year subjects (3rd and 4th year subjects in the USA). These usually have a three- or four-digit code that starts at 2, 3 or 4, depending on which school year they are taught.
- Are you a Master's student? Feel free to look for subjects with a code that starts at 4 or 5 (in the US: 5 or 6).

- MSc in optometry and visual science \xc2\x96 Specialization in general practice optometry: Part time (3-5 years, individually adapted)
- Single subject courses from the degree programme
Admission requirements
BSc in optometry or equivalent, basic competency in contact lens fitting and competency in the use of diagnostic drugs equivalent to the requirements for authorization of optometrists in Norway. Applicants with educational background from Norway must have authorization to practice optometry in Norway. The minimum requirement for admission to the MSc programme is an average grade of C or better.
Applications from optometrists authorized to practice in Norway who qualified previous to 2006 are welcome and may be accepted based on individual evaluation.
If you get admission you will also need to document a criminalrecord certificate.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
