Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.8 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
- Application Form and Fee: An online graduate application is available at www.kennesaw.edu/admissions/graduate_admissions.html and should be filled out by the student. A non-refundable fee of $60 must be paid at time of application.
- Transcripts: Official transcript for a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum grade point average of 2.80 on a 4.0 scale. Official transcripts for all undergraduate and graduate courses must be submitted.
- Test Score: Applicants must submit a score from a standardized test including the Graduate Record Exam (GRE), the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT); or the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). Test requirements are waived for applicants who have earned an advanced degree..Minimum scores are generally 280 GRE General, 3.5 Analytical Writing; 475 GMAT; 151 LSAT; however, students with scores below that may apply,
- Letter of Intent: An application letter that states the applicant\xc2\x92s interest and goals for the MSCM and the potential use of the degree.
- R\xc3\xa9sum\xc3\xa9: A current r\xc3\xa9sum\xc3\xa9 is required.
- Recommendations: Two letters of recommendation that address the applicant\xc2\x92s potential for graduate study and use of the MSCM degree from employers, supervisors, or professors familiar with the applicant\xc2\x92s ability.
- An official TOEFL or IELTS score report. Students from countries where English is the primary or official language do not need to submit TOEFL scores. Students who have an accredited US degree also do not need to submit TOEFL scores.
