- [\'Geopolitics of Borders\', \'Excursion\', \'Conflicting Theories\', \'Political and Geographical Conflict Resolution\', "The Conflicts, Territories and Identities Master\'s programme includes one elective course of at least 6 ECTS. It should be a relevant course for the central theme of this Master\'s specialisation. Ideally, the elective course forms a close relationship with your Master\'s thesis. There are four options for filling this elective space. In consultation with your supervisor, choose the course that will be most helpful for you in the development of your Master\'s thesis research. Like for example:The CICAM course Conflict, Aid and Development (Quarter 3)The human geography course Cross-Border Governance (Quarter 3-4)The human geography course Qualitative Methods (Quarter 3), strongly recommended in case you lack prior methods trainingFinally, you may opt for another Master\'s course that you select yourself. It may be a course offered by our own department, offered by other disciplines within our faculty, offered by other faculties of Radboud University, but also courses offered by other universities in the Netherlands or abroad, which suit your personal research interests.You can explore yourself. Academic Requirements
1. A Bachelor\'s degree in a geography-related discipline from a research university with a fair number of courses in your preferred\nspecialisation.

\n2. English proficiency. Students do not\nrequire English language certification if they:

- Are a citizen of Australia,\nCanada (except Quebec), Ireland, New Zealand, UK, USA; \n
- Completed a three-year\nBachelor\'s programme at a Dutch university; \n
- Completed a Bachelor\'s\nprogramme taught in English in: EU/EEA-countries, Australia, Canada, New\nZealand, or USA; or \n
- Completed a Master\'s\nprogramme at a Dutch university of applied sciences (HBO). \n
All other students need one of\nthe following certificates (which may not be older than two years).

- A TOEFL score of >=90,\nwith subscores not lower than 18 \n
- An IELTS score of >=6.5,\nwith subscores not lower than 6.0 \n
- Cambridge Certificate of\nAdvanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) with\na mark of C or higher \n
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
