Admission Requirements:
In accordance with BPS and HCPC admissions criteria, we require:
- A minimum of a 2:1 bachelor\xc2\x92s degree in psychology*
- Previous experience with face-to-face counselling work or other formal helping roles
- Successful completion of a certificate/foundation course in counselling**.
- Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society.***
- Capacity to undertake doctorate level research
- High level of interpersonal skills and self-reflective capacities

- A supporting statement of 500 words. Please give further information in support of your application and use the following points as guidance for its content: your interest in counselling psychology training, the reasons for your choice of this particular programme, your interest and knowledge of the existential/phenomenological philosophy and its application to therapeutic practice, what you feel you can contribute to this training, and your research interests.
