Academic Requirements

The MA in Education and its constituent parts are normally offered to qualified professionals (usually in Education) and those with equivalent. Applicants shall usually hold a good first degree (UK Upper Second Class Honours or above) and have at least 3 months employment or voluntary experience in an educational or other relevant setting. 

Some full-time specialisms require Disclosure & Barring Service checks and some modules require specific experience and/or current practice. Recent Exeter PGCE graduates can gain accelerated entry to the MA in Education.  

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
