Program Overview

Develop your book proposal and manuscript in Canada’s only MFA dedicated to creative nonfiction through a two-year low-residency format and industry-facing mentorship. This two-year limited residency program, where you develop your book proposal and manuscript with an exclusive focus on creative nonfiction, is the only MFA program of its kind in Canada. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with publishing industry professionals throughout your degree. This MFA is offered jointly by Dalhousie and the University of King’s College .
