Research in Education (30 credits)
The aims of this module are for students to develop an understanding of research, the research process, and of the research methods, issues and considerations relevant to their specialist subject and to carrying out research in education.
MSc in Education Research Project (Mathematics) (60 credits)
The aim of this module is for students to design, conduct and report on a research project relevant to their specialist subject of mathematics and the school/educational context.
Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
An honours degree awarded by a UK higher education provider, or a recognised equivalent qualification, which has at least 50% mathematics. If the degree has less mathematics content then a Subject Knowledge Enhancement course may be required before the start of the PGCE.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
