Bachelor\'s Degree Requirement
You must have earned a bachelor\xc2\x92s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in the U.S. or the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor\xc2\x92s degree from an international institution that is officially recognized by that country.
GPA requirementYou must have maintained a \xc2\x93B\xc2\x94 (3.00 on a 4.00 scale) grade point average (GPA) in the last 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of undergraduate course work. If you do not meet the minimum GPA requirements, your application may still be considered.
The School of Film, Dance and Theatre requires that the following additional application materials for the MFA in Dance with a concentration in Interdisciplinary Digital Media and Performance program be attached to your Graduate Admissions Application:
- A statement of purpose detailing the applicant\'s background in dance, as well as the applicant\'s interest in and suitability for work in the interdiscipline of dance and digital media
- A portfolio of materials that support the statement of purpose (writing samples, electronic performance materials, etc.)
- Please include URLs to examples of recent work, including one solo piece and one group piece, and other relevant creative work
- R\xc3\xa9sum\xc3\xa9 or C.V.
- 3 letters of recommendation from professionals in the dance field
