- Practical training. In Semester 4, the student follows a practical training of 17 weeks in an industrial environment or in an academic laboratory. During this semester, he/she writes a report, which will be defended in front of a jury at the end of the training.

Admission and selection criteria
Admission criteria: To be eligible to apply for the Master\'s programme DMKM, students must satisfy both of the following conditions:
Be the holder of a Bachelor\'s degree (a minimum of three years\' study at a university and corresponding to the equivalent of 180 ECTS) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or Statistics.
Mastering English at a level equivalent to 550 TOEFL.
Evaluation criteria for candidates: Selection of the candidates who satisfy the admission criteria is based on the following points:
Quality of the university results in the last three years (20 pts);
Adequacy of knowledge already acquired with the content of the Master\'s (10 pts);
Work placements done by the candidate (2 pts);
Knowledge of foreign languages other than English (2 pts);
Evaluations made by at least two professors who have known the student from the point of view of doing a Master\'s programme (5 pts);
The student\'s motivations and personal project (20 pts);
Oral expression and communication skills (16 pts);
Selection procedure: The eligible students will be ranked according to the points obtained from the evaluation criteria. The top 60 students will be invited to an individual interview with a teacher from the consortium. A list of the 36 candidates selected will be drawn up. These will be the students who received the best mark during the interview. Other criteria will also be taken into account in the classification so as to guarantee geographical diversity. An additional list of 10 students will be drawn up on the same basis. It will be used should there be students who decide not to accept the place offered.
Application procedure:
All students who want to apply for the Master\'s must:
Fill-in the application form online with personal details, university education and marks obtained, language skills, professional experience, work placements, cultural knowledge obtained from travelling or other means.
Upload by the indicated deadline all the required documents and proofs:
- Copy of passport of other legal identification document;
- List of marks obtained during the three-year bachelor course;
- Obtained certificates or diplomas in foreign languages;
- A letter describing his/her interests in the field and motivations to enroll in the Master;
- A CV including a list of previous work placements and professional experience;
- Three referees\' contacts (e-mail is preferable);
- Proof of proficiency in English.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
