Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- Admission to the programme shall be subject to the approval of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health Sciences) on the advice of the Faculty of Dentistry.
- Every applicant must present evidence of ability for advanced level academic study, and
- have been admitted to the degree of Bachelor of Dental Technology (if studying by papers and thesis), or
- have been awarded the Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Technology (if studying by thesis only), or
- have alternative qualifications and experience acceptable to the Dean of Dentistry (in considering an applicant\'s qualifications, regard will be given to the detail of the course of study followed, as well as the applicant\'s performance).
- Applicants whose previous qualifications do not include the degree of Bachelor of Dental Technology will be required, as a prerequisite for the thesis, to have passed a suitable paper in research methodology (such as PHCY 506).
English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
