Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- A good first university degree on the areas of economics, engineering, forestry or natural resources
- High proficiency in English
- A strong personal statement of motivation
- Good recommendations from two references, of which at least one is an academic.
At the time of application, you must supply proof of your BSc degree as well as the required language test, or be tested in an interview for your English level. Transcripts as proof of BSc Degree must be original or certified copies.
Candidates who will only obtain their first higher education degree at the end of the academic year preceding the start of the Master Programme can nevertheless apply for a scholarship and can be selected by the consortium, under the condition that the student obtains the required degree prior to the beginning of the Master course intake concerned.
English proficiency
All students will have to either send documentation of English proficiency or provide an interview (via Skype). Regarding documentation, we accept either IELTS (6.0) or TOEFL tests (min. 560 in paper-based test or IBT 83). If you are a native speaker of English or have completed your BSc degree in English, no formal test is required.
The TOEFL test results may be sent either directly from the testing centre or as a certified copy.
For IELTS please provide the test center with the exact address of the Erasmus Mundus Secretariat. Alternatively, a certified copy of the test can be included with the application. Language tests must not be older than 2 years at the time of submission of the application.English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
