Academic Requirements

To be considered for admission to the Masters in International Communications applicants will be expected to hold a primary degree with a minimum second-class honours, grade two in the Humanities or Social Sciences.This programme is primarily targeted at:

  • Irish students or media professionals wishing to explore the intellectual, institutional and political aspects of contemporary media practices;
  • International students who are native English speakers or with high levels of English proficiency, who have primary degrees in communication, media or journalism studies or a related area, and an active interest in international affairs;
Candidates will have to attend an interview as part of the selection process.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
