Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
International applicants must submit official score results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The required minimum acceptable TOEFL score is: 79 Internet-based (213 computer-based or 550 paper-based) or minimum IELTS score: 6.5. International students whose native language is English, or who have attended for at least two years an accredited College or University where the only medium of instruction is English, may have the English Language proficiency requirement waived. The waiver is determined on an individual basis following a review of the student\xc2\x92s application. Students whose English Language proficiency is below the required minimum score but who are academically admissible will be \xc2\x93Conditionally Admitted\xc2\x94 to the program and required to first complete LIU Post\xc2\x92s English Language Institute prior to enrolling in any academic coursework.
Additional Tests (optional):Additional test results can be submitted along with your application, but other than English language tests for international students, there are no required tests. The GRE is not required.
