Program Overview
The Diversities in Youth Care at Radboud University is a MSc programme in Humanities over 12 months, delivered On-campus. This programme equips graduates with advanced knowledge and practical skills for professional and academic careers in the field.

Course Structure
- Dealing with Diversities in Care (4 EC)
- International Perspective on Treatment and Care of Individuals with a Disability (6 EC, partly abroad)
- Gender Theories and Equality Policies 1 (6 EC), Political Sciences
- Poverty, Well-being and Social Justice (3 EC), Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology
- Migratie en interreligieuze studies (5 EC), Religious Studies (only in Dutch)
- Juvenile law, policy and ethics (4 EC)You will study the different way policies, law and ethics are interconnected in the fields of upbringing, education and youth and family care.
- Complex Systems (4 EC)You will gain insight in the complex systems that play a part in behaviour and therefore also upbringing, education and youth care. You will study the different components that play a role in complex systems as families, classes, schools but also in humans, the brain and even cells.
- Diagnostiek (5 EC) only in clinical programme (only in Dutch)Je leer teen diagnostisch proces uit te voeren in de praktijk volgens de Diagnotische Cyclus. Aan de hand van een casus uit de stage-instelling bestudeer je de overeenkomsten en verschillen tussen de werkwijze in de praktijk en de werkwijze volgens de Diagnostische Cyclus.
- Coaching in practice (4 EC)You will learn to coach and support other professions in a team. You will gain knowledge about different coaching methods. Most of these assignments will preformed during your internship.

Academic Requirements
1. A Bachelor\'s degree in Pedagogical Science or a related discipline.
2. English proficiency. Students do not require English language certification if they:
- Are a citizen of Australia, Canada (except Quebec), Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, USA, or South Africa; or
- Have a Dutch Bachelor\'s degree or VWO diploma.
All other students need one of the following certificates (which may not be older than two years):
- A TOEFL score of >=575 (paper based) or >=232 (computer based) or >=90 (internet based)
- An IELTS score of >=6.5
- Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) with a mark of C or higher
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
