Academic Requirements

Admission to the MSc programme in Chemistry requires a Bachelor\'s degree (or an equivalent 3-year education) in Chemistry (minimum of 80 ECTS credits chemistry courses).
This includes basic courses in general, organic, inorganic, physical and analytical chemistry. You must have good practical skills in the chemistry lab, and sufficient knowledge of experimental methods relevant for your specialization (for example chromatography and/or spectroscopy). It is also important that you have experience in writing scientific reports.

In addition, applicants must have basic knowledge in mathematics and physics. Background in statistics is recommended.

Admission to the different specializations requires a bachelor\'s degree with courses relevant for the specialization in mind. Bachelor\'s degrees within other related areas may be consideres on an individual basis. The candidate\'s background should provide a relevant background in chemistry for the master\'s programme in chemistry.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
