Program Curriculum
Course Structure
- Research: The program offers a variety of research topics, such as: stem cells, salivary glands, mineralized tissues, bone, biofilm, microbiology, immunology, virology, cartilage, developmental biology, cell movement, tissue engineering, epigenomics and oral diseases.
- Courses:\xa0Core courses in biology, immunology, microbiology, physiology and biotechnology are offered. Elective courses in specific areas are also offered.
- Structure of studies: Pre requisite for being accepted to the program is finding a research mentor. Upon acceptance to the program the student must join the research laboratory. In the first six months he or she must submit a research proposal. Submission of a written thesis (in English) and an oral examination on the research topic concludes the program.

Academic Requirements
We\xc2\xa0accept students holding a B.Sc. from a wide variety of fields such as:\xc2\xa0Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy etc., as well as physicians (MD) and dentists (DMD; DDS).\xc2\xa0
A minimum final grade of 82 is required.
(Students with a lower final grade may apply to the Exceptions Committee. Acceptance to the program is not guaranteed).
All students who do not come from an\xc2\xa0English-speaking country or have a degree from an academic institute whose course of study are not in English, must take an English language proficiency exam before applying to the university.
Candidates must have an English level of at least "Upper Advanced Level."
